This is my own Nakamichi 670zx cassette deck and it has never had problems. It has been kept our heated and air conditioned home from day one. All functions operate as per the instruction manual which is included. This manual is a copy of a PDF file downloaded from the internet. The service information manual is original and is invaluable if you are a technical person, as my self. All of the controls are noise free and the unit was tested this date (2-26-2010) to insure that everything works as expected. I can assure you, the unit will not arrive DOA. I have included several pictures, I tried to show the physical appearance. There are some scratches located on the top left rear corner which occured when I had another piece of audio gear placed on top of the Nakamichi 670zx. The rest of the unit is in excellent condition. I am including several recorded cassettes, since I have no way to play them now. I have a serious hearing problem. There is no hearing in my right ear and wear a high dollar hearing aid in the left ear. So you understand, I have Mono hearing, no more great stereo music, you have to be tough to get old! There is a recording included from the "Overture of 1812" from a digital master disk that really puts a great test on the recording quality of the Nakamichi 670zx, Please listen to this cassette and be prepared for the awsum canon shots, which are room shaking if have a awsum sound system.
