Description Hello, and welcome to T.D.C.'s listing This listing is for One (1) Used Nakamichi RX-505. This unit is in very good shape, It has been hooked up to our system here, and has been playing here for the last few months. We recorded some blank tapes as well as played some pre-recorded tapes, The unit plays and sounds great ! Items to note : The auto-reverse does not work, but the unit will eject tape or reverse orientation when selected manually. The exterior of the unit has a few scuff and scrapes, a ding in the lower left corner of the faceplate and the case has a ding in the top right, minor scuff marks and scrapes. (please refer to pictures) Overall, if your looking for great sounding unit and don't mind flipping the tape manually, or you have the knowledge to or want to have the auto-reverse fixed. And have the unit thoroughly gone over and adjusted, and check the rollers and belts, which wear and age over time. Either way, you would wind up with one of the classic machines.
