Hi ........ This Auction is for a Extremely Rare Studer Revox B 215 S Full Logic Cassette Deck with Original Owners Manual in Perfect Working Order & Excellent Cosmetic Condition !! .. The B 215-S was the Limited-Edition Special Version of the B215 ... It came out near the end of the B215 run ... At a list price of $3000 this is considered to be one of the Best Cassette Decks ever produced if not , The Best !!........ As far as build quality, the B215's are pretty much as good as it got for tape .... Like a good reel-to-reel, this is a three head machine ... Four actual direct drive motors, Each capstan ( it has two !!) is driven by a brushless direct drive motor , cast aluminum frame for the transport , excellent panel and case ..... Built to last a Lifetime !! .. Cosmetically ..... This Deck has never been repaired & was very well loved .. Acquired from a German gentleman that had it housed with its matching components in a glass enclosed audio stand before storing it for the last few years in a smoke free environment .. He claims it very rarely seen use , mostly on special occasions or family functions & bought it as more of a status symbol than anything else ...
